The Ethiopian Interest Free Finance professionals association (EIFFPA) has delivered a two days training on the basics of interest free finance on March 14 and 15, 2023. The training has been provided in Grand Eliana Hotel to 37 bankers participated from different banks operating in the market. The major purpose of the training is to enlighten participants about the fundamentals of interest free banking/finance, not only from theoretical perspective but also from the point of view of practical experience in the Ethiopian environment. This is believed to wipe out some common misunderstandings being observed in the industry.
The trainers are practitioners in the field of interest-free finance with reach experience in delivering similar sessions in the industry. The participants have finally been provided with certificates of appreciation for successfully completing the session. While delivering the certificates to participants Ato Mesfin Bezu, Secretary of EIFFPA’s Executive Committee, has confirmed that capacity building is one of the major objectives of the association and delivering such trainings is not a one time exercise and it will be undertaken in a continuous manner.
